About the Journal
International Journal of Applied Resilience and Sustainability (IJARS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by Deep Science Publisher. IJARS publishes applied research addressing climate change, risk reduction, sustainable development, environmental management, and resilient systems. It provides a platform for researchers and scientists to publish scientific and applied research to promote the speedy propagation of high-quality research information in resilience and sustainability. Priority is given to research papers that address urgent global issues related to resilience and sustainability. Submissions should introduce new ideas and approaches that inform the theoretical development, policy thinking or practice in relation to broader questions of social justice, equality and empowerment, along with presenting strong evidence (empirical, case-study and critical analysis) that challenges or tests existing frameworks and practice. The journal is particularly open to submissions that cross disciplinary boundaries, encouraging the integration of new perspectives across environmental science, agriculture, engineering, economics, and policy, and social sciences, while also being mindful of the broader resilience and sustainability research community.
