Overview of Manuscript Submission

Article Types

Original papers
The entire length of the article should be under 11,000 words including tables and figures but not the references.

Review articles
The maximum length for the review papers is 13,000 words; references will be excluded from the limit.

Submission Process

Authors who wish to publish in IJARS are required to submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission. The corresponding author holds primary responsibility throughout the submission and peer-review process. This author must confirm that all qualifying co-authors are listed, have reviewed and approved the submitted manuscript, and are available to provide final consent for any revisions if needed. To proceed with submission, the corresponding author should first register and log in to the submission site. Co-authors may also view manuscript details by creating an account using the same email address associated with the submission.

File Formats

We ask you to provide manuscripts formatted according to the IJARS Microsoft Word template. Manuscripts prepared in Microsoft Word should be submitted as a single file. Please place figures and tables in the main text after the paragraph of their first citation. When using the template file, your manuscript will be typeset and then converted into a PDF for copyediting and publication. The total size of all contents should not exceed 100 MB. If you have any concerns, contact the Editorial Office editor@deepscipub.com.

Preparation of Manuscript

Front Matter

You must include the following details in your front matter:

  • Article title: Titles of articles must be short and informative. Avoid formulae and abbreviations where possible.
  • Author names: Provide the full names of all authors, including both their first and last names. The sequence of authors should be as given during submission. Please verify carefully that names are spelled correctly.
  • Affiliations: Include affiliation addresses below author names, indicating where the work was conducted. Affiliations should be designated using a lowercase superscript letter immediately after the author’s name and before the corresponding address. List the full mailing address for each affiliation, ensuring the country is specified, and add the e-mail address of every author if it is available.
  • Corresponding author: Clearly specify the corresponding author for all stages of your work, including post-publication. This responsibility extends to future enquiries regarding your results, data, methods and materials. The corresponding author’s email and contact information should be accurate at the time of submission and remain valid through publication.
  • Abstract: A short, structured, and informative abstract limited to 300 words is necessary. The abstract should briefly describe the purpose of your research, main results and general conclusions. Abstract must be self-explanatory, since abstracts are frequently read in isolation from the article. Avoid references and uncommon or non-standard abbreviations. If abbreviations are necessary, define them at first use.
  • Keywords: Authors are required to provide 1–6 keywords in English for indexing purpose. Try not to use words that have two or more words (“and” or “of”). Abbreviations should be included only if they are very common in the discipline.

Manuscript Sections

  • Introduction: Orient the reader, give rationale, state the goal, and highlight significance. Mention hypotheses, cite major references, and note conflicting viewpoints if any.
  • Literature Review: Summarize, critique, and analyze relevant studies, books, and sources used.
  • Methodology: Describe in detail so experiments can be reproduced. Mention novel procedures, cite previous methods concisely, include software versions, codes, and preregistration if applicable.
  • Results: Present findings clearly and concisely, highlight significance and conclusions.
  • Discussions: Compare results with existing literature, note limitations, and address broader implications. Future perspectives may also be discussed. Results and discussion can be combined.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the key conclusions clearly and engagingly.
  • References: IJARS follows Vancouver style. Number references in the order cited and list at the end. Use reference management tools like EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero.

Back Matters

  • Acknowledgement: Mention people/institutions who supported but don’t qualify for authorship. Include funders and describe their role. Ensure permission is granted for acknowledgements.
