Crossmark Policy

CrossMark is a multi-publisher initiative from the CrossRef organization to provide a standard way for readers to locate the final version of a document. By applying the CrossMark logo, Deep Science Publisher commits to maintaining the content it publishes and to alerting readers to changes if and when they occur.

How CrossMark Works?

Clicking on the CrossMark logo of a document will give you information about: i) a document’s current status, ii) any additional publication-record information available regarding corrections, retractions or updates.

For further information, see the CrossMark Website.

Scope of CrossMark in Deep Science

The CrossMark logo will appear in the following content published by International Journal of Applied Resilience and Sustainability (IJARS): 1) the current issue and all future issues of a journal; and 2) all other selected document types like research or review papers.

Corrections and Retractions Policy

Corrections Policy: provides a mechanism for correcting errors of omission (author names, citations) and scientific inaccuracies that do not alter the overall core results or conclusions presented in a published article. Example: an invalid unit of measure generating inaccurate data only in a non-essential part of the investigation. For all other types of corrections, consent needs to be given in writing by all disputing parties before publication should proceed. If an author should be removed, the authors of the paper and one of the authors whose name was proposed for removal should sign an official letter requesting removal.

Retractions Policy: applies to manuscripts that contain major errors in the reporting of findings, which may cause significant misinterpretation, mislead readers, or create confusion about the source of data. Retraction is also required in cases of manipulated, falsified, or fabricated data, or in situations involving a breach of professional ethics. Authors are encouraged to provide retraction letters, signed by all authors. Approval of a retraction will be subject to review and confirmation by the Editor-in-Chief. Once approval has been granted, the retraction will be forwarded to our publishing group for publication and for replacement of the original article.
